Pour La Via Campesina, 18 ans de l’OMC suffisent! Les petits agriculteurs, hommes et femmes, du monde entier ont déjà trop souffert. La Via Campesina est loin d’être le seul mouvement à appeler pour la fin de l’OMC. Avec Gerak Lawan (une alliance de mouvements populaires Indonésiens contre le néocolonialisme et l’impérialisme) et l’assemblée des mouvements sociaux pour une Asie alternative (SMAA), plus de 100 organisations et mouvements du monde entier, ont signé l’appel pour la fin de l’OMC. Ces mouvements organisent une Semaine d’action contre l’OMC à Bali pour réclamer non seulement le rejet du paquet Bali, mais également de l’OMC et de l’ensemble du régime de libre-échange. Ils exposeront aussi leur solutions alternatives.
