Where strawberries grow
Lina is 70 years old and has always been farming. Every morning, in the dark, she get to the largest outdoor market in Europe : Porta Palazzo, where she sells her fruit, her vegetables ... and her strawberries. The life of Lina, as she says, is "home, church and work" . She has no children, but five dogs and a husband who keeps on working. One day, however, she meets Hassan, a young Moroccan immigrant looking for work ... El lugar de las fresas is a poetic film, which shows the audience the most essential value and pure human being through the work of the earth.
